Mac-specific checks describe Exhibit Director’s Mac edition; its iPad edition has a different feature set. Running Windows in a virtual machine is not a native Mac app. Prices are U.S. dollars, before applicable tax, and may change. Annual prices are total annual charges, not monthly rates.
A smaller annual commitment.
Exhibit Director’s listed annual price is $500 less than LIT SUITE Solo and $800 less than OnCue Pro. It may fit if you mainly need Mac exhibit presentation: PDFs, images, media, callouts, side-by-side viewing and a separate audience window.
Those are price differences, not claims of identical capabilities. LIT SUITE includes five apps; OnCue Pro includes two activations and a monthly ProSync job. Match the license and workflow to your case before buying.
Choose for the work.
TrialDirector and OnCue document transcript-synced deposition workflows. TrialPad is another Mac and iPad presentation option, with TranscriptPad clips available through its suite. ExhibitsPad is designed for distributing electronic exhibit binders to jurors, witnesses and other fact finders.

Prepared by Erik Davidson, the developer of Exhibit Director, using the product pages and official documentation linked below. These are documentation checks, not a hands-on benchmark or a rating of trial reliability. “Not confirmed” does not mean a feature is missing. Competitor names belong to their respective owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
- Exhibit Director. Apple App Store: availability, subscription options and iPad features; Mac feature overview. One active subscription covers Mac and iPad using the same Apple Account. iPhone remains planned.
- TrialDirector. Reveal product overview; system requirements; presentation documentation; exhibit labels; PDF export with markups. The iPad cell refers to the current TrialDirector product, not historical TrialDirector for iPad releases.
- OnCue. Product features; Windows requirements; split screens; callouts; synced video; current plans; vendor checkout. Pricing uses the current Pro $900/year and Flex $100/month plans, rather than older plan blocks still present on the pricing page.
- TrialPad. Product overview; feature documentation; TranscriptPad video workflow; LIT SUITE pricing. TrialPad and ExhibitsPad are included in the same suite subscription.
- ExhibitsPad. Evidence-binder overview; supported file types; iPad-only availability; suite pricing. This is the LIT SOFTWARE app officially named “ExhibitsPad,” sometimes referred to as “ExhibitPad.” It is a different app from TrialPad.
